Maria Legakis has served as an independent agent in the life insurance sector for the past five years in vibrant South Florida.

Before embarking on this career path, my professional journey included roles such as an educator, a small family business owner, and extensive time living abroad. The decision to leave Europe and return to Florida marked a significant pivot towards a new professional chapter. I commenced my career in life insurance in 2019, joining a dynamic team, and subsequently established my own company in 2020. I am licensed in multiple states and collaborate with diverse insurance carriers with my primary objective being to assist and educate individuals regarding the many nuances of life insurance.

During my tenure in this field, I was encouraged to engage in the life settlement sector, offering guidance to clients across the United States. I discovered the multifaceted benefits of life insurance and committed myself to an educational initiative informing the public about leveraging the potential advantages of their policies. Seeing the security and relief on my client’s faces upon policy issuance—knowing their loved ones, whether spouses, children, or even their home mortgages, are protected—is profoundly rewarding.

Moreover, I advocate for cash buyouts for policies that might otherwise lapse when deemed unnecessary. Providing individuals with the knowledge to make informed decisions for themselves and their families is immensely gratifying. Engaging in conversations about the potential avenues within life insurance policies is something I thoroughly enjoy. My ambition is to foster ongoing education and awareness among consumers.
